White Cliffs and Coober Pedy are the only two places in Australia where most of the town is underground. People live in the old mines, dug into the sides of hills, where the temperature varies only a few degrees, cool in summer and warm in winter. Every dugout is unique, many artists and creative people call White Cliffs home, and there are several that run tours, we even have an Underground Motel!
